CSH Transport & Fwd. Ltd. is pleased to announce that we have been granted approval to act as a Fulfilment House under the Fulfilment House Due Diligence Scheme.

The Fulfilment House Due Diligence Scheme is part of a package of measures announced at Budget 2016 that disrupt and deter abuse by some overseas businesses selling goods to UK customers via online marketplaces.

Fulfilment businesses in the UK have to register with HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC), keep certain records and carry out robust due diligence checks on their overseas customers. This reduces non-compliant overseas businesses trading in the U.K. enabling HMRC to identify and tackle them more easily.  HMRC publishes a register permitting businesses to check whether they are dealing with compliant fulfilment businesses.

Customers importing goods from Europe or globally into the United Kingdom can import them into the CSH Warehouse.  Upon completion of the legally-binding due diligence checks of customs documentation goods can then be legally sold and distributed throughout the U.K.
