CSH Transport and The Fireflies Rides

Over the past twenty years, Stuart and Chris Haworth have raised money for cancer research via The Fireflies cycle charity. Chris is a founder member of the ride and took part as one of the original five riders back in 2001 and spent much of the first seven years of the ride organising the logistical aspects of the event.  

The Fireflies Rides, with the backing of RSA Films, blossomed from its original Geneva – Cannes route over the “Grandes Alpes.” It takes in many of the toughest climbs of the Tour de France and world cycling to include Fireflies West, San Francisco to L.A. and Fireflies Patagonia. Red Bull described it as “the world’s hardest gravel ride.” 

Many millions have been raised by the charity over the past twenty years. Over $500,000 was raised in the 2022 Fireflies West edition alone. Please have a look here for further information.
